Here was a movement that spoke to the heart of the jazz musician, to explore new dimensions and reveal the cosmic thread that joins us together. Building on the rich foundation provided by jazz masters, players develop superb technique and routinely take improvisational risk to produce music in the moment. Vocalists sing the lyrics that reveal the deeper side of life connecting us all. Spiritual Jazz acknowledges the pain and suffering of earthly existence, but affirms the awareness of deliverance in the here and now. In 1964 John Coltrane recorded A Love Supreme which he described in the liner notes as a “humble offering to Him…NO MATTER WHAT … IT IS WITH GOD. HE IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL. HIS WAY IS IN LOVE, THROUGH WHICH WE ALL ARE. IT IS TRULY – A LOVE SUPREME – .”

We play music to remind the audience and ourselves that love is supreme. We perform jazz, soul, pop and originals to express love and be thought-provoking for the advancement of higher consciousness.
